حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا بَصَقَ أَحَدُكُمْ، فَلَا يَبْصُقْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، وَلَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، وَلْيَبْصُقْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ، أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ " (٤)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) came and said: When any one of you is praying, he should not spit to his right side, but rather to his left side or under his foot.
