حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، عَنِ السُّجُودِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَأْمُرُ أَنْ يُعْتَدَلَ فِي السُّجُودِ، وَلَا يَسْجُدَ الرَّجُلُ وَهُوَ بَاسِطٌ ذِرَاعَيْهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Abu al-Zubair says that I asked Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) about the manner of prostration: he replied that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) commanding moderation in prostration, and that no person should spread his arms flat while prostrating.
