Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو، أَنَّ بُكَيْرًا، حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ عَاصِمَ بْنَ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَادَ الْمُقَنَّعَ، فَقَالَ: لَا أَبْرَحُ حَتَّى تَحْتَجِمَ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّ فِيهِ الشِّفَاءَ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) once went to visit Muqni‘ and said: I will not leave from here until you get cupping done, because I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say that there is healing in it.
