حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: دَخَلَتِ الْبِقَاعُ حَوْلَ الْمَسْجِدِ، فَأَرَادَ بَنُو سَلِمَةَ أَنْ يَنْتَقِلُوا قُرْبَ الْمَسْجِدِ، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ: " إِنَّهُ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّكُمْ تُرِيدُونَ أَنْ تَنْتَقِلُوا قُرْبَ الْمَسْجِدِ؟ "، قَالَوا: نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قَدْ أَرَدْنَا ذَلِكَ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ: " يَا بَنِي سَلِمَةَ، دِيَارَكُمْ تُكْتَبْ آثَارُكُمْ، دِيَارَكُمْ تُكْتَبْ آثَارُكُمْ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a piece of land near the Prophet’s Mosque became vacant. The people of Banu Salamah intended to move closer to the mosque. When the Prophet (ﷺ) learned of this, he said to them: “I have heard that you want to move closer to the mosque.” They replied, “Yes, O Messenger of Allah! That is our intention.” The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “O Banu Salamah, stay in your homes; the reward for your footsteps will also be written for you. Stay in your homes; the reward for your footsteps will also be written for you.”
