Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا ابْتَعْتُمْ طَعَامًا، فَلَا تَبِيعُوهُ حَتَّى تَقْبِضُوهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: When you buy grain, do not sell it to anyone else until you have taken possession of it.
