Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: " كَانَ يُنْبَذُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سِقَاءٍ، فَإِذَا لَمْ يُوجَدْ سِقَاءٌ، نُبِذَ لَهُ فِي تَوْرٍ مِنْ حِجَارَةٍ "، فَقَالَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ لَهُ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ: مِنْ بِرَامٍ؟ قَالَ: " مِنْ (١) بَرَامٍ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that nabidh used to be prepared for the Prophet (ﷺ) in a waterskin, and if there was no waterskin, then it would be prepared in a stone pot.
