حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ جَابِرٍ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ، وَسِتًّا مِنْ شَوَّالٍ، فَكَأَنَّمَا صَامَ السَّنَةَ كُلَّهَا " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: Whoever fasts in the month of Ramadan and then follows it with six days of fasting in the month of Shawwal, it is as if he has fasted for the whole year.
