Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: " نَهَى - أَوْ نَهَانَا - رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرَةِ (١) حَتَّى تَطِيبَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the sale of fruit before it had ripened and become good.
