حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، يَقُولُ: " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْمِي يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ضُحًى وَحْدَهُ، وَأَمَّا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ، فَبَعْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) pelt the first Jamrah with pebbles on the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah at the time of forenoon, and on the following days he performed the Rami at the time of decline (of the sun).
