حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ: لِي خَادِمًا تَسْنَى - وَقَالَ مَرَّةً: تَسْنُو - عَلَى نَاضِحٍ لِي، (١) وَإِنِّي كُنْتُ أَعْزِلُ عَنْهَا، وَأُصِيبُ مِنْهَا، فَجَاءَتْ بِوَلَدٍ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا قَدَّرَ اللهُ لِنَفْسٍ أَنْ يَخْلُقَهَا، إِلَّا هِيَ كَائِنَةٌ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that an Ansari man came to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: "I have a slave girl who serves us and also brings water. At night, I go to her and practice coitus interruptus, yet she has given birth to a child." The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The soul that Allah has decided to create will surely be created."
