Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the construction of the Ka'bah began, the Prophet (ﷺ) and Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) started carrying stones. Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O nephew! Take off your waistcloth and place it on your shoulder so that your shoulder does not get injured by the stones." When the Prophet (ﷺ) intended to do so, he fell unconscious and collapsed. After that day, the Prophet (ﷺ) was never seen with his body uncovered by clothes.
