English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) sold a mudabbar slave, whom Ibn Nuham bought. He was a Coptic slave and died in the very first year of the caliphate of Abdullah bin Zubair. An Ansari had made him mudabbar, and besides him, he had no other wealth of any kind.
