Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، سَمِعَهُ مِنْ جَابِرٍ، " كَانَ يُنْبَذُ (١) لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سِقَاءٍ، فَإِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ سِقَاءٌ، فَتَوْرٌ مِنْ حِجَارَةٍ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that Nabidh used to be prepared for the Prophet (ﷺ) in a waterskin, and if that waterskin was not available, it would be prepared in a stone pot.
