Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْغُسْلِ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَمَّا أَنَا فَأُفْرِغُ عَلَى رَأْسِي ثَلَاثًا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a person asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about the ritual bath (ghusl) after major impurity. The Prophet (ﷺ) replied: "I pour water over my head three times."
