Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ نُبَيْحٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: " كَانَ أَصْحَابُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَهُ إِذَا خَرَجَ،، ، وَيَدَعُونَ ظَهْرَهُ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) would come out, the noble Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) used to walk in front of him and would leave his blessed back for the angels.
