حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ أَيْمَنَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: " لَمَّا حَفَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ الْخَنْدَقَ، أَصَابَهُمْ، ، جَهْدٌ شَدِيدٌ، حَتَّى رَبَطَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى بَطْنِهِ حَجَرًا مِنَ الْجُوعِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the trench, very severe conditions befell the Prophet (ﷺ) and his companions (may Allah be pleased with them), to the extent that due to hunger, the Prophet (ﷺ) had tied a stone to his blessed stomach.
