حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ مَطَرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، أَنَّ ذَكْوَانَ أَبَا صَالِحٍ - وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ خَيْرًا - يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ، وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُمْ: " نَهَوْا عَنِ الصَّرْفِ "، رَفَعَهُ رَجُلَانِ مِنْهُمْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed, Jabir (may Allah be pleased with them), and Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that they used to prohibit the sale of gold and silver on credit, and two of them attributed this prohibition to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
