حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، وَابْنُ بَكْرٍ، قَالَا: أَْخَبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ: سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، يَقُولُ: " خَرَصَهَا ابْنُ رَوَاحَةَ أَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفَ وَسْقٍ، وَزَعَمَ أَنَّ الْيَهُودَ لَمَّا خَيَّرَهُمْ ابْنُ رَوَاحَةَ، أَخَذُوا الثَّمَرَ، وَعَلَيْهِمْ عِشْرُونَ أَلْفَ وَسْقٍ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that Abdullah bin Rawahah had forty thousand wasq of dates harvested. According to his estimation, when he gave the Jews the choice, they took the fruit, and twenty thousand wasq became obligatory upon them.
