حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ، أَنَّهُ: أَخْبَرَهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، أَنَّهُ: سَأَلَ (١) جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ، وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ: " أَسَمِعْتَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْهَى عَنْ صِيَامِ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ؟ "، قَالَ: " نَعَمْ وَرَبِّ هَذَا الْبَيْتِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Muhammad bin ‘Abbad asked Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) once, while he was performing Tawaf of the House of Allah, about this issue: “Have you heard the Prophet (ﷺ) forbidding fasting on Friday?” He replied: “Yes, by the Lord of this House.”
