حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ: سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، يَقُولُ: " قَامَ، ، النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِجَنَازَةٍ مَرَّتْ بِهِ حَتَّى تَوَارَتْ "، قَالَ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَيْضًا: أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا، يَقُولُ: " قَامَ النَّبِيُّ وَأَصْحَابُهُ لِجَنَازَةِ يَهُودِيٍّ حَتَّى تَوَارَتْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a funeral passed by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so he stood up and remained standing until it disappeared from sight.
