حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مِقْسَمٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ الْغُسْلِ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ، فَقَالَ: " تَبُلُّ الشَّعْرَ، وَتَغْسِلُ الْبَشَرَةَ "، قَالَ: فَكَيْفَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَغْتَسِلُ؟ قَالَ: " كَانَ يَصُبُّ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلَاثًا "، قَالَ: إِنَّ رَأْسِي كَثِيرُ الشَّعْرِ، قَالَ: " كَانَ رَأْسُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ رَأْسِكَ، وَأَطْيَبَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
Once, Hasan bin Muhammad asked Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) about the ritual bath (ghusl) after major impurity: He replied that soak the hair thoroughly and wash the body. He asked, "How did the Prophet (ﷺ) perform ghusl?" He replied that the Prophet (ﷺ) would pour water over his head three times. He said, "My hair is very long." Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) replied that the Prophet (ﷺ) had more hair on his blessed head than you in terms of quantity, and in terms of fragrance, his was the best.
