حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، وحَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ، وَعُثْمَانَ، كَانُوا: يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بَعْدَ التَّكْبِيرِ، بِ {الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ} [الفاتحة: ٢] فِي الصَّلَاةِ "، قَالَ عَفَّانُ: يَعْنِي فِي الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ التَّكْبِيرِ (٤)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that I have performed prayer with the Prophet (ﷺ) and the three caliphs; these noble persons would begin the recitation in prayer with "Alhamdulillahi Rabbil 'Alamin."
