حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَازِمٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَنَسٍ: كَيْفَ كَانَتْ قِرَاءَةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: " كَانَ يَمُدُّ صَوْتَهُ مَدًّا " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
Qatadah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I once asked Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) about the manner of the Prophet's (ﷺ) recitation, so he replied that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to prolong his voice.
