حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، " أَنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَ يُتَّهَمُ بِامْرَأَةٍ، فَبَعَثَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلِيًّا لِيَقْتُلَهُ، فَوَجَدَهُ فِي رَكِيَّةٍ يَتَبَرَّدُ فِيهَا، فَقَالَ لَهُ: نَاوِلْنِي يَدَكَ، فَنَاوَلَهُ يَدَهُ، (٢) فَإِذَا هُوَ مَجْبُوبٌ لَيْسَ لَهُ ذَكَرٌ، فَأَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَخْبَرَهُ، فَقَالَ: وَاللهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّهُ لَمَجْبُوبٌ، مَا لَهُ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man was accused of committing adultery with a woman. The Prophet (ﷺ) sent Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and instructed him to go and kill him. When Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) reached him, he found him cooling himself in a well. Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him, "Give me your hand." He gave his hand, and Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) saw that he had no male organ. Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) returned and said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! He is impotent; he has no male organ."
