حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ، وَقَتَادَةَ، وَحَمْزَةَ الضَّبِّيِّ، أَنَّهُمْ سَمِعُوا أَنَسًا، يَقُولُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " بُعِثْتُ أَنَا وَالسَّاعَةُ هَكَذَا " وَأَشَارَ بِالسَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى، فَكَانَ قَتَادَةُ يَقُولُ: كَفَضْلِ إِحْدَاهُمَا عَلَى الْأُخْرَى (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "I and the Hour have been sent like these two fingers together." Saying this, the Prophet (ﷺ) pointed towards his index finger and middle finger.
