حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: رَأَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلًا يَسُوقُ بَدَنَةً، قَالَ: " ارْكَبْهَا "، قَالَ: إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ قَالَ: " ارْكَبْهَا وَيْحَكَ " (٣)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) passed by a man who was driving a sacrificial animal. The Prophet (ﷺ) told him to ride it. He replied, "This is a sacrificial animal." The Prophet (ﷺ) told him two or three times to ride it.
