حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ، وَأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ شَاذَانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِرَجُلٍ يَسُوقُ بَدَنَةً: " ارْكَبْهَا "، قَالَ: إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ قَالَ: " ارْكَبْهَا "، قَالَ: إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ قَالَ: " ارْكَبْهَا وَيْحَكَ " فِي الثَّالِثَةِ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) passed by a man who was driving a sacrificial animal. The Prophet (ﷺ) told him to ride it. He replied, "This is a sacrificial animal." The Prophet (ﷺ) told him two or three times to ride it.
