حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَسُفْيَانَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ: " أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً عَلىَ وَزْنِ نَوَاةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that Abdur Rahman bin Auf (may Allah be pleased with him) married an Ansari woman for a gold piece equal to a date stone.
