حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، وَحَجَّاجٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " لَا يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى يُحِبَّ لِأَخِيهِ - أَوْ لِجَارِهِ - مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ "، وَلَمْ يَشُكَّ حَجَّاجٌ: " حَتَّى يُحِبَّ لِأَخِيهِ مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: None of you can be a believer until he likes for his brother or neighbor what he likes for himself.
