حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، حَدَّثَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ الْحُدَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَخْبِرْنِي بِمَا افْتَرَضَ اللهُ عَلَيَّ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ، فَقَالَ: " افْتَرَضَ اللهُ عَلَى عِبَادِهِ صَلَوَاتٍ خَمْسًا "، قَالَ: هَلْ قَبْلَهُنَّ أَوْ بَعْدَهُنَّ؟ قَالَ: " افْتَرَضَ اللهُ عَلَى عِبَادِهِ صَلَوَاتٍ خَمْسًا " قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا، قَالَ: وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ، ، بِالْحَقِّ، لَا أَزِيدُ فِيهِنَّ شَيْئًا، وَلَا أُنْقِصُ مِنْهُنَّ شَيْئًا، قَالَ: فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ إِنْ صَدَقَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! Tell me how many prayers Allah has made obligatory?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah has made five prayers obligatory upon His servants." He asked, "Is there any prayer obligatory before or after these?" The Prophet (ﷺ) replied three times, "Allah has made five prayers obligatory upon His servants." Upon this, the man said, "By Him Who sent you with the truth, I will neither decrease nor increase anything in them." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If he is truthful, he will enter Paradise."
