حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا، يَقُولُ: " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرُ، وَعُثْمَانُ، يُتِمُّونَ التَّكْبِيرَ إِذَا رَفَعُوا، وَإِذَا وَضَعُوا " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ), Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman (may Allah be pleased with them) used to say the complete takbeer; when they would go into prostration or raise their heads (they would also say the takbeer).
