حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ الْبَرَاءَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، كَانَ يَحْدُو بِالرِّجَالِ، وَأَنْجَشَةَ يَحْدُو بِالنِّسَاءِ، وَكَانَ حَسَنَ الصَّوْتِ، فَحَدَا فَأَعْنَقَتِ الْإِبِلُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَا أَنْجَشَةُ، رُوَيْدًا سَوْقَكَ بِالْقَوَارِيرِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that Bara bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) used to chant the camel-driving songs for the men with the Prophet (ﷺ), and Anjasha (may Allah be pleased with him) for the women. Anjasha had a very beautiful voice. When he started chanting, the camels began to run swiftly. Upon this, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Anjasha! Drive gently with the glass vessels."
