Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، أَنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ، " أَنَّ الزُّبَيْرَ بْنَ الْعَوَّامِ، وَعَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ شَكَوَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْقُمَّلَ، فَرَخَّصَ لَهُمَا فِي قَمِيصِ (٣) الْحَرِيرِ فِي غَزَاةٍ لَهُمَا " (٤)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abdur Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) complained to the Prophet (ﷺ) about lice, so the Prophet (ﷺ) granted them permission to wear silk garments.
