Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ، سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَقُولُ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا إِيمَانَ لِمَنْ لَا أَمَانَةَ لَهُ، وَلَا دِينَ لِمَنْ لَا عَهْدَ لَهُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "He has no faith who is not trustworthy, and he has no religion who does not keep his promises."
