English translation

Abdur Rahman Asam says that a person asked Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) about the command of saying Takbeer in prayer, so I heard him replying that when a person bows (ruku), prostrates (sajda), raises his head from prostration, and stands between two rak'ahs, he should say Takbeer. Hakeem asked him, "From whom do you remember this hadith?" He replied, "From the Prophet (peace be upon him) and from Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them)." Then he became silent. Hakeem asked him, "Also from Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him)?" He replied, "Yes!"
