حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ: " أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَجَرَ عَنِ الشُّرْبِ قَائِمًا "، قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ: فَالْأَكْلُ، قَالَ: " أَشَرُّ وَأَخْبَثُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade drinking while standing. I asked about eating (while standing), so he said: "That is even more severe than this."
