Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the angel responsible for rain sought permission from Allah Almighty to present himself before the Prophet (ﷺ). Allah Almighty granted him permission. On this occasion, the Prophet (ﷺ) said to Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), "Take care of the door so that no one comes in to us." After a short while, Imam Hussain (may Allah be pleased with him) came and wanted to enter the house. Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) stopped him, but he jumped in and began to sit on the back, shoulders, and neck of the Prophet (ﷺ). The angel asked the Prophet (ﷺ), "Do you love him?" The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "Yes!" The angel said, "Remember! Your ummah will kill him. If you wish, I can show you the place where he will be martyred." Saying this, the angel struck his hand, and there came red soil in his hand. Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) took that soil and tied it in her scarf.
