حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: " جَمَعَ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْبَعَةُ نَفَرٍ، كُلُّهُمْ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ: أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ، وَمُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ، وَزَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، وَأَبُو زَيْدٍ " (٥)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Prophet (ﷺ), four companions (may Allah be pleased with them) had memorized the entire Qur'an, and all four belonged to the Ansar: Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him), Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him), Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him), and Abu Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him).
