حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، فَذَكَرَ حَدِيثًا، وَقَالَ قَتَادَةُ: كَانَ يُقَالُ: (٢) " أَتِمُّوا الصَّفَّ الْأَوَّلَ، (٣) ثُمَّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ، فَإِنْ كَانَ نَقْصٌ فَلْيَكُنْ فِي الصَّفِّ الْمُؤَخَّرِ " (٤)،
Translation
English translation
Haddathana Hasan ibn Musa, haddathana Shayban, 'an Qatadah, and he mentioned a hadith, and Qatadah said: It used to be said: "Complete the front row, then the one that follows it, and if there is any deficiency, let it be in the last row."
