حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَافَرَ فِي رَمَضَانَ، فَرَكِبَ رَاحِلَتَهُ، فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ عَلَى يَدِهِ، ثُمَّ بَعَثَهَا، فَلَمَّا اسْتَوَتْ قَائِمَةً شَرِبَ، وَالنَّاسُ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَيْهِ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once during the month of Ramadan, the Prophet (ﷺ) was on a journey. A vessel was brought before the Prophet (ﷺ), he placed it on his hand so that people could see, and then he drank from it.
