حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: " أَقَامَ بِلَالٌ الصَّلَاةَ، فَعَرَضَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ قَالَ: فَأَقَامَهُ حَتَّى نَعَسَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَصَلَّى بِالنَّاسِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the time for prayer arrived, Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) gave the Iqamah, and during this, a man came before the Prophet (ﷺ). When the Prophet (ﷺ) stood up for prayer, some people had already fallen asleep. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) came and led the people in prayer.
