حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: " مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَوْلَمَ عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ نِسَائِهِ، مَا أَوْلَمَ عَلَى زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ " قَالَ: " فَأَوْلَمَ بِشَاةٍ أَوْ ذَبَحَ شَاةً " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that I did not see the Prophet (ﷺ) give a wedding feast for any of his wives like he did on the occasion of Zainab bint Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with her), in which the Prophet (ﷺ) had a goat slaughtered for the wedding feast.
