حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَشْهَدُوا أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ، فَإِذَا شَهِدُوا أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ، وَاسْتَقْبَلُوا قِبْلَتَنَا، وَأَكَلُوا ذَبِيحَتَنَا، وَصَلَّوْا صَلَاتَنَا، فَقَدْ حَرُمَتْ عَلَيْنَا دِمَاؤُهُمْ وَأَمْوَالُهُمْ إِلَّا بِحَقِّهَا، لَهُمْ مَا لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ، وَعَلَيْهِمْ مَا عَلَيْهِمْ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: I have been commanded to fight against the people until they bear witness that there is no deity except Allah and that Muhammad (ﷺ) is the Messenger of Allah. When they bear witness to this, face our Qiblah, eat our slaughtered animals, and pray as we do, then their lives and wealth become inviolable to us, except by the right of Islam. Their rights will be like those of other Muslims, and their obligations will be like those of other Muslims.
