Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Soon there will be discord and division in my Ummah, and a group will emerge among them who will recite the Qur'an, but it will not go beyond their throats. You will consider your prayers insignificant compared to their prayers, and your fasts insignificant compared to their fasts. They will go out of the religion just as an arrow passes through its prey; just as an arrow never returns to its bow, these people will never return to the religion. They will be the worst of creation. Glad tidings are for the one who kills them or is killed by them. They will call towards the Book of Allah, but they will have nothing to do with it. Whoever fights them will be as close to Allah as possible. The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! What will be their sign?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Their sign will be shaving their heads.
