Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَرْقُدُ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ أَوْ يَغْفُلُ عَنْهَا قَالَ: " لِيُصَلِّهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked the Prophet (ﷺ) what is the ruling for a person who forgets to pray or falls asleep? The Prophet (ﷺ) said: When he remembers, he should offer it.
