حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ الْقَطَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ،، ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، عَنْ قِيَامِ السَّاعَةِ؟ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا أَعْدَدْتَ لَهَا؟ " قَالَ: لَا إِلَّا أَنِّي أُحِبُّ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ، قَالَ: " الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ "، ثُمَّ قَالَ: " أَيْنَ السَّائِلُ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ؟ " قَالَ: وَثَمَّ غُلَامٌ فَقَالَ: " إِنْ يَعِشْ هَذَا فَلَنْ يَبْلُغَ الْهَرَمَ حَتَّى تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a Bedouin came and said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), when will the Hour (Day of Judgment) be established?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "What preparation have you made for the Hour?" He replied, "I have not prepared many good deeds, but I do love Allah and His Messenger (ﷺ)." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You will be with those whom you love." Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says that during this time, a slave of Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him), who was my age, passed by, so the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If he lives, he will not reach old age before the Hour is established."
