Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، عَنْ ثُمَامَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا تَكَلَّمَ بِكَلِمَةٍ رَدَّدَهَا (١) ثَلَاثًا، وَإِذَا أَتَى قَوْمًا فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَلَيْهِمْ سَلَّمَ (٢) ثَلَاثًا (٣) "، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) said something, he would repeat it three times, and when he went to a group of people, he would greet them with salam three times.
