حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: " لَمْ يَخْرُجْ إِلَيْنَا نَبِيُّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلَاثًا، وَأُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ، فَذَهَبَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَتَقَدَّمُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْحِجَابِ فَرَفَعَهُ، فَلَمَّا وَضَحَ لَنَا وَجْهُ نَّبِيِّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، مَا نَظَرْنَا مَنْظَرًا قَطُّ كَانَ أَعْجَبَ إِلَيْنَا مِنْ وَجْهِ نَبِيِّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ وَضَحَ لَنَا، فَأَوْمَأَ بِيَدِهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ: أَنْ يَتَقَدَّمَ، وَأَرْخَى نَبِيُّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْحِجَابَ، فَلَمْ (٢) يَقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى مَاتَ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) fell ill with his final illness, he did not come out for three days. Once, the prayer was established and Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) stepped forward to lead the prayer. The Prophet (ﷺ) lifted the curtain of his house. We had never seen such a sight as the radiant face of the Prophet (ﷺ) shining like an open page. At that time, the Prophet (ﷺ) signaled to Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) to move forward and complete the prayer, and the Prophet (ﷺ) let the curtain fall. After that, until his passing, the Prophet (ﷺ) was not able to come for the prayer.
