حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِثَوْبٍ حَرِيرٍ، فَجَعَلُوا يَمَسُّونَهُ وَيَنْظُرُونَ، فَقَالَ: " أَتَعْجَبُونَ مِنْ هَذَا لَمَنَادِيلُ سَعْدٍ أَوْ مِنْدِيلُ، ، سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ هَذَا أَوْ أَلْيَنُ مِنْ هَذَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a silk garment was presented as a gift to the Prophet (ﷺ) from somewhere. People began to touch and look at it. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Are you amazed at this? The handkerchiefs of Sa'd, which have been given to him in Paradise, are better and more excellent than this."
