حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مَنْصُورًا، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَالِمَ بْنَ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَتَى السَّاعَةُ؟ فَقَالَ: " مَا أَعْدَدْتَ لَهَا؟ " قَالَ: مَا أَعْدَدْتُ لَهَا مِنْ كَثِيرِ صِيَامٍ، وَلَا صَلَاةٍ، وَلَا صَدَقَةٍ، وَلَكِنِّي أُحِبُّ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ قَالَ: " أَنْتَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a man came and said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! When will the Hour (Day of Judgment) be established?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "What preparation have you made for the Hour?" He replied, "I have not prepared many good deeds, prayers, or fasts, but I do have this much: I love Allah and His Messenger." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You will be with those whom you love."
